Popular with walkers and cyclists the Cotswolds Hills are on your doorstep offering some of the most picturesque villages and walks in the country. Numerous National Trust properties and gardens are within easy reach. Outside: each property enjoys a shared outside space with seating and parking area. This 12th century castle has been owned by the Berkeley family since its foundation and is now a fine stately home, packed with art treasures, tapestries, silver, porcelain and furniture.
Then there’s elegant, genteel Cheltenham, with its grand terraces, much frequented by the lords and ladies of Georgian times and now home to some very smart shops. Or step back in time to Tewkesbury, where timbered buildings sit crowded on the banks of the rivers Avon and Severn.
